Downtown Oneonta has been the site for both The Covered Bridge Festival and June Fling for a number of years. In addition to these large annual festivals, the Oneonta Downtown District started its Third Thursday series in 2019, and we look forward to continuing these in Fall of 2021!

THE COVERED BRIDGE ARTS & MUSIC FESTIVAL

Sponsored by the Blount-Oneonta Chamber of Commerce, The Covered Bridge Arts & Music Festival continues to be the county’s largest event bringing in visitors from across the country with attendance continually exceeding 13,000 with over 100 vendors for the arts & crafts show. Other highlights of the festival include a live music venue, river walk, car show, Miss Covered Bridge Pageant (a preliminary to Miss Alabama), pancake breakfast and quilt show at Palisades Park.
